Two high performance cutting materials for specific
areas of application.

CBN |
| |
Polycrystalline diamond (PCD), due
to its characteristic grain growth, is an extremely strong
compact material with arbitrary orientation of the crystal
structure. |
Second to diamond, CBN is the hardest
cutting material. CBN is sintered under high temperatures
and pressure into row plates which are machined into tools
through erosion and grinding. |
| Suitable for the following materials: |

| |
Platinum, gold, silver, copper, bronze,
brass, aluminium, magnesium, ceramic, glass-fibre reinforced
plastic, CFRP, wood. |
Hardened steel from 42 HRC, hard coating
alloys, chilled cast iron, gray cast iron, Monel metal,
Inconel, Stellite. |
